A private family is seeking an experienced and professional Chef to join their household in Hawaii for a seasonal position running from November through March. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys creating fresh, healthy, and beautifully presented meals in a relaxed but high-standard private setting.

You will be based in Kauai, with accommodation provided in a fully furnished condo and a vehicle available for work-related use. The schedule is flexible, typically five to six days a week and you’ll mainly be preparing lunch and dinner for two principals, with the occasional meal for guests.

For the right candidate, there is also an opportunity to continue working with the family beyond the Hawaii season and relocate to their residence in Utah for a long-term position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve daily meals for the principals, focusing on fresh, nutritious, and well-balanced menus

• Plan menus, source ingredients locally, and manage grocery shopping and kitchen inventory

• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, ensuring all hygiene and food safety standards are met

• Create a welcoming and relaxed dining experience while maintaining professionalism and discretion

• Coordinate with household staff to ensure smooth daily operations and flexibility around the family’s schedule

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of professional experience as a private chef or in luxury hospitality or fine dining

• Strong background in healthy, seasonal, and locally inspired cuisine

• Flexible, adaptable, and discreet with a calm and positive attitude

• Comfortable working independently and managing all aspects of the kitchen

• Must have the legal right to work in the United States

Package:

• Schedule: Full-time, 5/6 days per week

• Compensation: $150,000 - $160,000 per annum
