Verbind Partners is representing an active family in North Sydney who are seeking an experienced family assistant to join their household on a long-term basis. This is a live-out position, supporting three children aged 4, 8, and 9 years old.

The role goes beyond childcare, requiring someone confident in both nanny duties and light household/PA responsibilities, ensuring the home runs smoothly day to day. The successful candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and able to balance the needs of the children with household management tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive care and supervision for three children aged 4, 8, and 9, supporting daily routines, after-school schedules, and extracurricular activities

• Engage the children in fun, educational, and age-appropriate activities

• Assist with schoolwork and foster a positive, nurturing environment

• Coordinate household shopping, errands, and returns as needed

• Assist with household organisation and administration

• Ensuring children’s belongings and spaces are tidy and organized

• Accompany the family on international travel as required

• Provide flexibility to adapt to changing schedules in a fast-paced, active household

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years’ experience as a Nanny or family assistant in private households

• Demonstrated experience working with multiple children in similar age groups

• Strong organisational and multitasking skills

• Ability to manage both childcare and household responsibilities

• Energetic, adaptable, and able to match an active family lifestyle

• Valid driver’s licence (car provided during working hours if required)

More Details

• Salary: A$100,000 - A$120,000 including superannuation

• 4-weeks paid vacation + 10 days per year sick leave

• Schedule: Tuesday – Friday, with core hours from 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM

• Travel bonus, paid holidays
