Family Assistant/Nanny - North Sydney

Verbind Partners is representing an active family in North Sydney who are seeking an experienced Family Assistant/Nanny to join their household on a long-term basis. This is a live-out role supporting three children aged 4, 8, and 9, and is suited to someone confident combining childcare with household and light PA-style responsibilities.

This position extends beyond traditional nanny duties. The successful candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing children’s routines while ensuring the household operates smoothly day to day.

Please note: Applicants must have the legal right to work full-time in Australia. Sponsorship is not available.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive care and supervision for three children

  • Support daily routines, after-school schedules, and extracurricular activities

  • Plan and engage the children in age-appropriate and educational activities

  • Assist with homework and foster a positive, nurturing environment

  • Prepare simple, healthy meals for the children and family

  • Coordinate household errands, shopping, and returns

  • Assist with household organisation and light administrative tasks

  • Maintain organisation of children’s spaces and belongings

  • Travel internationally with the family as required

  • Adapt to changing schedules in a fast-paced household environment

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience as a Nanny or Family Assistant within private households

  • Demonstrated experience caring for multiple children in similar age groups

  • Confident with family-style cooking and meal preparation

  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities

  • Comfortable balancing childcare and household responsibilities

  • Energetic, adaptable, and aligned with an active family lifestyle

  • Valid driver’s licence (vehicle provided during working hours if required)

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: A$100,000 - A$120,000 p/a (includes superannuation)

  • Schedule: Tuesday to Friday, core hours 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM

  • 4 weeks paid annual leave plus 10 days paid sick leave

  • Travel bonus and paid holidays
